It depends on what type of investing you are going to do.
If you plan on doing buy and hold investing you don't need an LLC but it's good to have one.
If you are going to do flipping, wholesaling or joint ventures, then you should have an LLC.
You don't need an attorney to create an LLC, an accountant can create one for you.
