Kansas City is a great market for Build to Rent and traditional garden style apartment complexes.

De Sota is in Jonson County KS which is the hotest housing market in the metro. It always does well. Nothing is ever guaranteed though. Multifamily in Johnson County is crazy hot.

I do think Kansas City is also great for cash flow and there are great spots for appreciation as well. Just gotta know where those are. A lot of out of state investors look to KC.
