Quote from @Jeff Nash:

I’m not sure if this is something you would be interested in, but HomeRoom is a company we have worked with from an insurance perspective and have properties in attractive markets across the US - https://livehomeroom.com/?gcli...
They have a rent by the room model.

@Harrison Sharp might be someone to connect with.

Thanks for the shoutout Jeff. Homeroom could be a great option. Shoot me a DM if you want to chat more!

Quote from @Karan Nanda:

I am looking for a real estate CPA in the Dallas area. Someone who has experience working with investors on forward-looking tax strategy.

Any recommendations, please? Tax professionals are welcome to send a direct message. Open to working with remote CPAs also.

Thanks

DM me - I’ve got a great one who does tax planning and helps a ton of my investor clients. I’m also a cpa but don’t practice anymore and he’s fantastic.

Quote from @Connor Heffler:

Just starting out as an investor and have narrowed my criteria down. Now I am researching which locations are the best to buy properties. I am analyzing states and cities based on crime rate, unemployment rate, population growth rate, home price to rental ratio, property taxes, and landlord friendliness. Are some of these demographics more important than the others? How do these demographics rank in terms of importance?

Every city will have good crime and bad crime. The most important factors are population growth rate (this will help your property appreciate quicker) and landlord friendliness out of everything you mentioned. DFW for example has incredibly strong population growth rate and a very well diversified business sector.
