I am currently buying a fourplex in a fantastic area and the previous owner has never had a vacancy in 25 years. I feel it depends on your specific niche. Buying a multi family property in a solid area could potentially be way more profitable than a single family home. You gain equity, and of cash flow to support future investments. Your short term gains with a single family property may be higher for resale, but  by buying multi family properties, your supporting your financial stability; by providing solid cash flow for years to come that will allow you to make more aggressive deals to see larger short term gains.

Hello,

Can you share what some of your strategies are to obtain multiple properties and continue to grow your business? I see people out there with several million dollar portfolios and I wonder how they obtained this large portfolio.

I am currently buying a fourplex and moving into it to start. Any suggestions what to do next with limited money to grow my buisiness?

Hello everyone,

I have been wondering this for awhile, but when is the best time to get an LLC?

I see a lot of people have LLCs or something related to that.

Is there a certain number of properties a person should obtain in order to get an LLC? What makes the most sense?

Can someone explain an LLC better for me?

Thank you!

Are there two separate ways to go about finding deals for either flipping and buy and hold?

I'm interested in both but I feel I need to do a flip first to build capital to purchase buy and hold properties.

Hello everyone,

I am new to real estate investing. Can anyone share some ideas on how to find deals and on a consistent basis? Does it depend on the market? I am looking to invest in Sheboygan Wi and Milwaukee Wi. Is there a secret I just don't know? Would finding a partner help?

Thank you for your time and advice!

Hello Everyone, My name is Matt Heath. I am a new investor currently living in Sheboygan WI. I am originally from Eau Claire WI. I am completely new to real estate investing. I started doing some reading on my own and found a new passion for real estate investing. I want to build a large real estate portfolio and retire early. I joined BiggerPockets because this site rocks!!

I am interested in Buy and Hold properties, Flipping, and Wholesaling. I am currently in the process of purchasing my first property with an FHA loan on a fourplex!

I am extremely passionate about real estate investing and am very excited to get started!

Any advice/connections, or knowledge would be much appriciated!

Thank you for your time!
