Hi Thomas! I'm an Associate Broker at Barker Realty in Santa Fe. In addition to my own interest in real estate investing I'm working with a couple local investors. I can tell you right now that rentals are in very high demand since supply is low. The rental occupancy rate is very high. I've also filled some apartments for a client and when I post an apartment for lease I get dozens of emails within the first couple days. If there's anything I can help or questions I can answer just let me know. Our MLS mostly covers the following counties - Santa Fe, Los Alamos, & Rio Arriba. However in the last 12 months we have also had land in our system from San Miguel, Taos, Colfax, and Mora Counties.

We see a lot of new land listed every week and a lot expire every week. Of the 295 plots of land that sold in the last 12 months the average days on market was 365 days.
