Hi Everyone!!
I'm new to investing in New Hampshire. I am from NY and I am interested in investing in New Hampshire.
I'm looking at either single family or apartments. I realize that will probably be 2 different areas, but I am interested
in looking at both.
Any advise would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Post: Demo lien statutes Florida ??

Do demo liens have a statute of limitations?
Also, I took this land lot in Florida (Polk county) to tax deed auction, meaning I paid off the back taxes and then it went to auction.
When I did that, the county did a title search and found no liens on the property.
NOW... I was about to sell the property and some demo lien in amount of around $1,400 popped up.
I NEVER got any notices about this lien ever...
I'm so annoyed about this... what can I do?
This demo lien goes back to 2010, isn't there a statute of limitations on these?
Also, wouldn't a tax deed auction... wipe out this demo lien??
Any help would be great
Thanks!

@Michael Wagner Thanks for the info! Do you own facilities that are near by to you locally? I live in such a "expensive" market, Westchester county, NY (1/2 hr north of Manhattan). I keep reading that you should only own storage facilities locally to you so that you can run them...

I wanted to find out from self storage facility investors about the current market.
How is it currently? Is there money to be made in this sector?
Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks!

So @Wayne Brooks the liens that I have on there should of been wiped out? and if that is so, can't I just call code enforcement back and tell them that? I just need to know because I want to sell this property asap.

So, the owner is deceased.. so I can't get any help from him... and according to code enforcement, these liens were issued back in 2015.
1 of the liens is demolishing the existing mobile home without a permit... which is an ongoing lien... the other 2, I think were nuisance liens (which means, not cutting the grass, etc).
I'd like to get all 3 off since I have a buyer for the land lot and I don't want to sell it to them with all these problems.... but again, these were all done before I acquired it... Am I really responsible since the county nor I found any issues before I acquired the property?

I acquired a tax deed property in Winter Haven, FL in August 2017.
Before I acquired it I paid off all the taxes to bring it auction.
Both me and the county did a title search and research on the property and there were no liens and encumbrances on the property.
This past tax year, suddenly I have liens on the property.. AND there are 3 liens on the property... all of them that were from 2015.
Code enforcement "claims" that sometimes liens don't show up until 2 yrs after the issue.
So.. my question is... do I have to pay these liens? since I was not responsible for these issues to begin with AND they didn't show up in my and the county's due diligence.
Let me know... if there is an attorney in FL that can help me with this... that would be ideal or someone that has dealt with something
like this before. Thank you!
