@Nicholas DiLeo you are welcome sir! Another action I have done is: after I have clarified my goal, I will write it down (in a journal, or anywhere) once in the morning and once at night. Make your phone wallpaper say this goal, write it on a sticky note and put it on your bathroom mirror. Totally surround yourself with it, and if you are taking steps toward achieving it - IT WILL HAPPEN!

@Rodney Robinson you bet. My next set of goals are focused around adding value and helping others that were in the exact same position as me, and keep growing my portfolio. Sometimes you just need that extra nudge or boost of inspiration to get back on track, hopefully I can play a small part in other investors' journeys to achieve their goals, and have fun doing it!

@Maryanne Cameron thanks! Whenever I notice myself not making progress towards my goals it’s because I haven’t gotten specific enough with them and really committed to the process of what needs to happen to get there.

Thanks @Don Spafford! Most are in Midtown area, and one in Papillion. I totally agree with you. Do you like living in Idaho Falls better than Omaha? My family lived in Wisconsin for a few years, but I'm glad to be back in Nebraska.

@Brady Przymus sounds great! I personally haven’t house hacked before, but know from others it is a phenomenal way to get started. I look forward to connecting!

@Brian G. thank you!

I had cash that I was able to bring to the deal that I had been saved from a past job and "spending less than I make" since graduating college. I was was absolutely nervous when doing this first transaction, but like I had said with all the self-education I had done - that gave me the confidence to move forward.

And yes, working with other investors that had multiple deals under their belt gave me comfort, too!
