You like to mention Beck, Palin, Limbaugh, etc...

Have you actually read any of their books, cover to cover?

As for your argument, what would you do if you found out that Osama Bin Laden owned 100 shares of Microsoft and 100 shares of Apple? So your purchase of a Mac or Windows 7 funds terrorism! That sounds so stupid, so does your initial post here. Actually, your post is even more stupid. Tying a prince of Saudi Arabia to a terrorist is like tying the President of the United States to Timothy McVeigh. Wait a minute, Obama and Ayers, hmmm, maybe you have a point!!

I think the agreed upon term for you is a "BOARD TROLL".

You like to fish for responses and really get your fulfillment from peoples responses. You are probably getting a chill up your spine just from reading this.

We are not going to change your mind and you will never change our mind. We can all see and experience the current 'state' of the United States.

As for Palin quitting, who "QUIT" the senate, one year into his term, to run for President? Only difference is, he didn't have the class to say, "I am resigning my Senate Seat so I can run for President". He needed that job just in case he lost! ZERO CLASS PRESIDENT!

Post: What is happening to the "Family Value" republicans?

The Republican Party is still based on the "Traditional Value" plank. That doesn't mean that everyone in the party is "Ozzie and Harriet" Nelson.

Just like the Democratic Party. Many in the Dem Party are anti-abortion, not pro-abortion (and don't say pro choice, the baby had NO choice). Many in the Dem Party are pro-gun, pro male-female marriage, etc....

I am sure the Democrats don't go around bragging that the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, etc... are party members.

The original thread question, "What is happening to the "Family Values" republicans?" can be answered, WE ARE ALL STILL HERE. The Bible says to JUDGE NOT, but to call sin, SIN.

And we are moving further RIGHT. Screw the middle, the mushy middle, the McCain middle. We are going to the REAGAN RIGHT!

I was going to have a lengthy rebuttal to Morgan Michaels, but like Rich states, it would be a great waste of time.

But Morgan Michaels, until you walk a mile in my hiking boots, don't pretend to even guess what I am like. Here are a few examples. My brother died at the age of 4 due to Leukemia. Do I think that the US Taxpayer should have stepped in to cover his medical costs? HECK NO! They have their own families to care about. My parents had to file BK and start over again, THAT'S LIFE!

As for you comments on Palin and Beck, have you even read their books? Or do you just listen to the Left Wing Media Pundits and follow their lead? Do us all a favor and get educated before coming here to criticize us. I have had to sleep in my car due to a lack of money, I have been on that side. I have vacationed in Europe and drove a Cadillac, so I have been on that side too. And at NO POINT did I ever ask the government for help. I practice what I preach!

Mike OH, I couldn't agree more!

Remember, the Democrats took over in 2006 (actually, beginning of 2007). I could also ask why didn't the Democrats address this when President Clinton was in office? This is counter productive, asking why something wasn't done in the past. We need to look forward and address it now.

I am extremely close to this issue. Being the Finance Director, I have to help, along with HR, chose the Health Care Insurance we provide our employees, annually. We have 91 benefited employees and I approved the monthly premium check just this week, $60,000.00. How sad is it that, as a non profit, we have to give ten cents of every dollar we receive just to provide Health Insurance?

The current Health Reform legislation does NOTHING to address COST. It's main focus is to force every one to have health insurance. That's like putting more chickens in the hen house after the fox gets in, hoping that more chickens will scare the fox.

Until Health Reform legislation STARTS with Tort Reform, Monopolistic Practices and health care availability, health reform will not happen.

Congrats on 3,000 posts. Also, Palin will give McCain a minimum of 10% more votes. Let's just watch and see.

EXACTLY Mr. Scott. If a person doesn't save up for retirement, including health care, too bad. If that is the bed they made, then they can lie in it.

I am so sick of Welfare, Section 8, FHA, AFDC, Medicare, Free Education, etc... If you want it, pay for it. Why is that so hard for folks to understand? If you can't afford it, that is NOT the taxpayers fault.

On a personal level, grammar may be a pet peeve to you. But that in no way prohibits success. My uncle can barely read or write, but he makes six figures A MONTH, all from Real Estate Investments.

Their is know weigh eye kan convence yu too chang you're mind, butt yu hev two edmit that yu kan reed dis.

Communication DOES NOT require proper grammar.

I agree with you a some points. I would have loved to see a Romney/Giulani ticket. Even a Romney/Palin ticket. I also agree with you, but take it a step further. Race should NEVER be a consideration in anything, not just voting.

I forgot to add another main reason Obama got elected, "Bush Hatred." The funny thing is, my bet is that 100 years from now, President W. Bush will be in most "Top Ten Presidents" list, with Washington, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan. And Obama will be on the very bottom. He has NO CLUE. I would have love to have been a 'fly on the wall' at Obama's first Security Briefing. I bet he wet his pants.

Barack Obama, a prime example of "The Peter's Principle"
