I am definitely looking into the multifamily route. I believe that would be my best option for me to invest in. Even if I do not purchase in my current area, I can look into surrounding towns to see what will work best. 

You're absolutely right, it's all about checking the numbers when deciding to purchase. I will continue to do my due diligence until then.

I have not made any offer lately. I just been finding  properties. Then,I reach  out to the owners through direct mail marketing, Cold Calling, did some door knocking last week.

Haha! I see that. lol. Either method of reaching you is great. I have been looking at off market multi in my market and some surrounding towns. I'm aiming to get one within a year.

What about partnerships? Would that be a good idea to start off? I remember from one of your episodes, you talked about partnering on  some real estate investments.

Or would it be better for me to get the down payment myself and starts off? 

What are some things I should be doing right to be ready? * besides saving funds* 

I'll be on the lookout for the next episode. I'm all caught up now. 

@Brian Ellis How are you approaching those deals on MLS? I'm also in Ma, and haven't had any luck with listed properties.

I am a real estate investor in Massachusetts approaching my 1st year of taking action. To be honest, I was trapped in Analysis paralysis mode for awhile. 

  The main strategy I've been focusing on is wholesaling. However, Lately, I have been thinking about getting into  multifamily investing to start my portfolio. I wouldn't mind living in one unit for the first year. 

What are somethings I should be considering right before making this jump? 

How did you guys went about your first multi family investment property? 

I don't want to start overthinking this process, at the same time I would like to know the correct way to go about this.

Right now, I would say not knowing as much *ins & outs* about multi family.  I get the general info on the benefits of "Housing hacking" as mentioned on your podcast. My main thing will be, how do I go about obtaining a good cash flow property with little to no money to start off.

Hello, my name is Ismael,  I am  real estate investor using and learning different strategies to complete transactions in Bristol County Ma *Fall River*. I am looking to network, and learn from other like-minded individuals. Right now, I've been focusing more on the wholesaling aspect of REI. My plan is to gain some capital and build from there. On the other hand, I am open to learning new strategies, on methods of acquiring properties with or without funds.
