@Bertina Mensah that's the thing about building a million dollar company: there is no detail information that will help you π you just need to go.
And BiggerPockets is an awesome platform, but it mostly works because of the bigness of the USA. Because the countries, cultures and languages in the EU are so vastly different, a platform like this would be harder to achieve in the EU (not impossible, but a lot harder). To zoom in to NL: we don't share money stuff so easily as is done in the US. So the information is shared scarcely. That's why a platform isn't there: it goes against the Dutch culture + the Netherlands is just a lot smaller.
So what are your plans for the million dollar company? But more important: which steps have you already taken?

@Bertina Mensah I was afraid @Erwin Groenendijk would throw me under the bus π the only site that I know that kind of does this is walter living.com. It's focused on home buyers, but you might be able to use it as an investor too. It will most likely be valuable for flippers. Apart from that, I don't know of any system in the Netherlands that does the same. I suspect that this is because the market is so much smaller than the US. If it doesn't exist, you could consider starting it, but you probably would have to focus on the EU market as a whole.
Hope it helps!

Oh, also: don't expect it to be easy. It'll take time to build your network and find deals. So if you have limited time, you'll have to make sure to leverage a lot of people. But mostly, it will take time.
@Bertina Mensah
Yep. Mostly for the practices and mindset. Stuff like driving for dollars, running your numbers, extending your network, direct mail/flyering are the basis and you can apply anywhere.
The only thing you need to figure out in regards to the Netherlands is what rules and laws apply, how to handle your taxes, how you transfer property. So you could do dealsourcing, which is just finding a deal and have your investor buy it directly from the seller. Or more wholesaly which is you intend to buy it from the seller but on the same day sell it to the investor. An ABC construct. But with the last, be aware that a lot of people have a bad feeling about it as it has been used in the past for fraud... But those things you just need to figure out.
@Bertina Mensah
The first step is to educate yourself. You mention that you don't know where to find properties or buyers. Have you listened to the podcasts that BP offers? The books or blogs? Did you try and find wholesalers/dealsourcers in the Netherlands? You need your get more knowledge before you start and can be successful.
I can go into everything you need to do, but I would just repeating what has been said in the podcasts. So start with those. They truly are a treasure trove of knowledge.
If you did some of the leg work in regards to education, and of you have specific questions, hit me up.
Oh, wait, it's Nelly! Sorry about that! π
@Bertina Mensah
Hey Bertina! Welcome in the forums! I'm assuming you mean the country right? But yeah, wholesaling is possible here, although we mostly call it dealsourcing here. Be aware that the market is quite challenging, but I do believe it is possible. So let me know if you have questions and I'll be more than happy to help!

Hey Eray!
Welcome to the forums! Fresh out of uni (jeej for Twente graduates) and already looking. Way to make a head start.
In regards to your question: the Dutch market can be a bit of a challenge. So if you want to start here, you'll have to do offline work. We Dutch (me included - but I also suspect a lot of other BP members) love to do all of this from their computer. But if you want the deals, you'll have to do what other people don't do: get offline. Talk to makelaars, vastgoed beheerders, financieerders. Start flyering, increase your network. You won't find the deals on Funda π (although not completely true: you might, but you'll be competing with a lot of buyers).
Personally, I've taken the leap to the UK because of more/easier opportunities. But you've got your own set of challenges there.
Like I said: I really believe there are still deals here, you just have to go off market. And be aware: if somebody offers you off market deals, those are not off market anymore π also, make sure you delve in the Dutch system. WWS and waarde in verhuurde staat being the most important for rentals. Box 1/2/3 in regards to taxes + flipping.
Hope this helps! If you've got more questions, hit me up!

@Jason Pfyffer you can find it here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/vastgoedmastermind/?ref=share
There are two Meetups on meetup.com, but sadly enough, also not really active. So like I said: find some active investors and hang out with them π
