Hi BP Community

My buddy/partner and I are going into the world of REI together and have set our sites on Big Bear and a short-term vacation rental property. We plan to visit next week and are hoping to connect with other BPers or get BP referrals in the area (investors/property managers/agents etc.) who wouldn't mind giving us NEWBIES a few pointers. We really want to see what those of you who own or manage VRs think about BB and drop some knowledge as to what the pros and cons are. We are from Torrance which is about 130 miles away. Thanks and looking forward to connecting.

But still depends on many factors. What I offer is I actually take you around to available properties and then go thru the good, the bad and the numbers (revenue) I find this really important to do BEFORE you buy. I have had so many owners ask me to manage their already bought homes that are not in good areas or don't have amenities needed.

I am a newbie who has been looking into the PS market for my first investment. Can you send the pro format to me? Thanks.

I'm also looking in the same area and look forward to seeing the responses. Looking to purchase this summer and apply the BRRRR strategy.

@Richard McGaffey. Just came across this post and wondering where we are now one year after the original post. Especially as it pertains to San Pedro.
