@Robert Chen its like a flat tire - you got it out of the way and now you're good with bad luck for a while! Keep trucking - if it were easy EVERYONE would do it...

Who has a GREEN rental? Or did a GREEN flip? Lets open up a discussion to brag or boast your energy efficient home. Why + when did you make you place green? Did you see a ROI with your tenant quality and or sale price of a flip?
When the snowflakes fly, and the temperatures drop - the thermostat rises.
As someone who is living in a duplex built in 1910 Massachusetts I am feeling the pinch of heating costs! Make us jealous of your truly green, energy efficient, alternate energy home!
Stay warm... and then cool....

Hi Guys, Anyone have experience converting oil heat to gas? This is for a duplex built in 1910 in Attleboro, MA Massachusetts south of Boston --- gas already in the house currently only used for the stoves... Thank you!
Who would you recommend?
What can we expect to pay?
Other solutions?
Thanks Thanks

@Rich Hupper no experience with either here but wanted to give this a bump as I would be interested in someone who has used these financing options.

Agree w @Greg Scott get that thing reno'd and rented ASAP with a kick *** tenant and get those checks coming in!
You put 25% down so you certainly have some equity - with quality tenants + repairs you are forcing appreciation. -- After a year or so you should be able to use this place and its equity as buying power for your next investment.@Brent Coombs
@Brent Coombs has good points and is certainly a golfer - but don't let him get you nervous - no one sinks it after 2 shots on their first par 5!
No room for buyers remorse now - work on decreasing costs and increasing rents and make this puppy work.

Fun question: What is the BIGGEST House Hack you have ever done?
Did you live in a BR while renting the other in a 2BR SFH?? Did you live in one side of a duplex while renting the other? Were 1/3rd of a tri?
One tenth of a 10 unit?
1 of 100 in your 100 unit apartment complex?
Would to hear any experiences / stories from the loyal house hackers!
