You pretty much locked in. They should have not extended you lock without your permission. An extension usually costs some basis points so make sure the lender is absorbing that and not you. It will be reflected in the rate discount box on the GFE if you are paying for it.

Investments count as 50% value when looking at assets/Dti/liquidity and reserves.
