Any experience with AREI, American Real Estate Investments, Real Estate Cowboys, John Larson, Taylor Glasgow, Michael Roberto.
I'm trying to connect with others that invested in a syndication, PPM or lending scenario who have not been paid back. My brother & I invested $100k with them on two different funds. We received only a few interest payments, and then all of the sudden they stopped, and I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone! It makes me sick to think that a company could simply do this, but it appears as if they have no intention on paying us back unfortunately. I don't even know what recourse we have at this point. I talked to another investor that invested in multiple of their projects, and same thing happened that he stopped receiving payments a year ago. I'm trying to connect with anyone else in this situation to see if we can come up with a collective plan, or seek legal advice together. There should be some legal recourse for this company that appears to simply be stealing people's money. It's very frustrating to experience because I still get their emails about investing in other opportunities or see what kind of deals they are offering so they are clearly still making money, but have no intention on paying investors back...the last email I got was to invest in Belize. Please help if you have any experience with them.
Thanks for sharing! Very exciting. Please keep us updated how things are going.

Man, this is an interesting topic to follow...
I'm really struggling deciding what is better between a heloc or just doing a refi. Any advice from anyone? What is better in terms of LTV, interest rate, etc.?

Did anyone own LV RE back in 2007-2013 when there was a huge market crash?
These are completely different questions of where to live & where to invest. Investing in markets that have positive cash flow & low taxes are the best places to invest.
