Have you been considering jumping into the Airbnb frenzy to make a little extra cash? Chances are, someone you know is making serious cash flow by renting out their mother-in-law unit, vacation house, or even spare bedroom.

We are having a small group discussion about AirBNB and short term rentals at the Oregon Wine Reserve on Thursday October 27th at 6pm. We will be discussing the various strategies, tools, and complications that are involved when managing a short term rental. It would be great to hear about others experiences with short term rentals, so we can all learn from each other!

Hey Everyone! 

Wow, over 60 people said that they are attending! What a turn out! 

Because of the large number, we have had to relocate the event to McMenamin's Kennedy School (Boiler Room) at 5736 NE 33rd Ave Portland, OR 97211, which is near 33rd and Killingsworth. This is one of the coolest places to hang out in PDX, if you have never been. And McMenamin's brews their own beers and 2 different kind of Gin!

Peter Ettro and I will be providing the Chicken Wings, Salad, and Tater Tots! We are excited to see you there!

Great interview! Very Informative. Thank you! We have learned very similar lessons lately from syndicating investors for Multi-family for Ettro Capital in the Portland, OR area. 

A few months ago, we designed / developed an equity crowdfunding website to be able digitally market to investors and have a place to display project info to potential investors. We quickly realized that potential investors still wanted to meet in person, building and maintaining relationships with trust will always be the key to success!

The best way to do due diligence is to look at their websites and project history, LinkedIn, check references, and meet with the fund manager in person. 

I am not aware of any 3rd party reviews about sponsors and syndicators, unless there was a bad situation that caught the attention of the press or people messaging on forums.
