What are you considering expensive? I'm in your area and I don't think our prices are too far off from Charlotte. Any difference would be worth having my investment closer to me.

There is also the option of an FHA 3.5% down. Get a duplex, triplex, or quad. Live in one and rent out the rest. Great way to start. It will probably take a little more than 1k unless you find a heck of a deal.

I wasn't referring to Brewerytown. In 19132, I was looking at a house where they were blocking the street to do a drug deal right in front of me and not 2 rowhomes down from the one I was looking at.

You may not be doing anything wrong. No two buyers are the same. You may have decor that appeals to the majority, but ran into a buyer whom is part of the minority.

You only learn about the Supra Key from experience. It's not on the test. I had my license before I ever heard the name. First time I came across one, I was showing a house and had no idea how it opened. Talk about looking green in front of a client. lol
