Mike is regularly on here, and he also hosts the local REI meetup, you'll find us the last Tuesday of every month down at his property management company. It's a great time, and a good group to network with. There have already been a couple deals put together post-COVID at our meetings, so come check it out!

Start with Mike at Heirloom properties, he also has contractor and construction guys and realty in house.

I'm curious if anyone has found a lender in the Duluth market that does cash-out refinancing to support a BRRRR type strategy, I've heard from a friend that he wasn't able to find anyone locally that would let him pull cash out of the equity he had in two properties in the twin ports. I have to imagine someone locally or one of the big-box lenders would back that.

Dan Maddy is a great RE attorney in town. Not cheap, but good help never is.

Yes, @Michael Schraepfer hosts one at Heirloom Property Management. It's a GREAT group, with very informative presentations and great networking. I think we'll have to be getting it started up again soon, but with Covid we haven't been gathering. 

@Tim Swierczek we're talking about the same one, right?

Hi Matt! Pre-covid we had regular meetings every month at Heirloom Property Management. It was a great group with some great momentum, and I'm really looking forward to getting it started back up when things return to normal. We had a monthly presenter to educate on a topic, and beer and snacks and good social time. Seems like forever ago, but I know we'll get it back up and running when we can. 

I'll second the recommendation to reach out to @Michael Schraepfer. He's managing this successfully for his clients in the market, and he's got the knowledge to point you in the right direction.
