@Darren Sager Thank you again for organizing another fantastic event this week. @J Scott Appreciate your insights and transparency on your business. I especially enjoyed the following nuggets from your presentation:
- Core Components of Business: a) acquisition, b) rehabbing, c) marketing & selling, and d) raising capital
It was also great seeing: @Vania Castillo ,@Mike Ebert , and @Kellie Lewis
Looking forward to next month!

@Darren Sager Thank you for orchestrating such a terrific event last night. I had the opportunity to actually meet people who I've spoken with on BP so that was a great to meet new friends. You remained calm, despite the technical glitches and everyone appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the evening. Lastly, I plan to reach out to North Star Funding shortly to discuss options available for SFH rehabs.
@Will Barnard We appreciate your transparency in sharing the nuts & bolts of your investing business and I hope you enjoy your stay in the greatest city in the world! :-)

Can you please add me to your buyers list as well? My focus is buy & hold, ideally single-family homes - minimum of 2 (ideally 3) bedrooms, 1.5 baths which should meet the 1% rule. I'm comfortable with potential rehab but not interested in Essex County. I already have 1 rental there and the taxes are painful! :-)

I also recommend joining the local REIA community and two decent one are: www.tristatemixer.com and www.mreia.com
Both clubs have consistently strong attendance and cover a variety of subjects such as: buy & hold, rehabbing, note investing, private lending, etc. Tristate rotates the locations each month and MREIA meets in Iselin, NJ each month.

Welcome to BP from a fellow investor in the Garden State. I'm very familiar with Essex County and recently moved from Montclair to Hunterdon County because of the taxes & traffic. There are two decent REIAs not too far from you: www.TristateMixer.com and www.MREIA.com. Also, don't overlook Hunterdon County as an area to invest - the taxes are a bit better though you obviously have a farther commute.
Good Luck in your investing journey.
