Hello everyone

My name is Randy Krock and I am looking into purchasing a retail shop building in Southeast Virginia. I was wondering if there is a source of lists of people who own these types of buildings, simiar to List source or something similar in the residential real estate? Im currently driving around looking at potential spots along with using google earth to go up and down major thoroughfares in my area. It is a little slow going and was hoping to have an easier way of identifying potential properties. Thanks for reading enjoy your day!

Hello BP i have an old 401k from a previous job that i want to convert into a self directed ira to be able to invest in real estate and local businesses. I was wondering which companies you guys have used and liked working with and also any companies that you have avoided. Ive been looking up companies online but wanted some recommendations from people who have used them before. For context I am looking to invest in a couple of syndication's along with potentially loaning out money to local businesses for equipment purchases or accounts recievable. Thanks in advance.

I liked: The richest man in Babylon-George S Clayson best personal finance book I have read

Think and Grow Rich-Napoleon Hill great on mindset

How to win friends and Influence people-Dale Carnegie being able to interact with people is great skill to have

These are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

I agree with @Marciamaynard I would look over both potential tenants applications and if they both fit your criteria choose based off of how they were during the interview/ showing if the unit. I have found the tenants that are easy to get along with and provide all the information on the application, have the credit and background checks come back clean tend to be good tenants. Good luck let us know how it works out for you. Having multiple great tenants to choose from is defiantly a good problem to have.
