Post: Luxury Vinyl Planks -- spec recommendations?

There have been quite a few threads regarding vinyl plank flooring -- apologies in advance for yet another.  I would appreciate some specific input from those who have used luxury vinyl plank flooring over the longer term.

As far as specs go, the luxury vinyl plank product "minimums" seem to include:

1.  Interlocking / click installation -- not glue or "grip strip".

2.  The "thicker stuff"...  5mm or greater product thickness.

Any thoughts / recommendations /input?  Manufacturers?  Install tips?

Thanks --

What's the scale and scope of your rehab project?  Are you just painting or gutting everything?  Heat is one consideration -- how about power for tools, light, etc.?  Multiple workers?  You can call the power company to get an idea how much temp power will cost to install -- there will be a monthly usage fee as well.  They can set up per your capacity needs.

Digressing here, but the second sketch has some safety issues relative to the location of the range -- including no set-off or landing space for hot pots while cooking, which is a serious error.

I suppose the real point might be to ask why sketches and input are even being provided for locating a kitchen in a 4' wide "room"...

Next up:  How to design the long walls of a 6 foot wide garage.

@Jassem A.-- the NKBA typically says that 36" walkway is pretty bare minimum.  Actual IRC code has no minimum for this width unless the space were somehow part of the egress path, which we have no information on -- however, at this point, to find out that this kitchen must also function as an egress component would be a hilarious additional design parameter for the awesome 4 foot wide kitchen...

^.....You physically don't have room to make this space function.

Yes, that has been my ongoing point in this thread...

You're no fun at all, I wanted to see the plan sketch.

^ Do you have a floor plan sketch for that layout?  Per the OP, the room is..... "It's 8 h x 12 w x 4 d total footprint"........      (4 feet wall to wall).

@Mike Wood.....  I changed my post -- a mis-type --I am actually currently putting in a three piece surround -- you're right, and there is no way I'd get a one-piece in my remodel!

@Taylor K.......I've run into this.  I kept one, and the single tenant seems fine with it.  But I'm working on a unit right now where I'm ditching the claw foot and installing a nice three-piece shower/tub combo.  Couple reasons -- I'm not a big fan of the riser/shower curtain rig -- they all feel like something users will easily damage.  The other thing I ran into was the typically worn-out finish on the claw foot tubs -- I'm doing a decent remodel, and a dull / stained tub doesn't work.  I get that they can be refinished -- I've researched a number of different solutions to refinish the tubs -- the thing is, the price of a quality refinish job that will last is quite high -- for me, I'd rather buy something shiny and new.  By the way, it also kind of sucks moving them to change out flooring, etc.
