Hi! Anyone in the Tucson area looking to network with a local Investor? Hope to meet soon! Thank you!

Hey Ramiro, I attend Cade’s meetup every month and it’s excellent. Definitely check it out! I also host a meetup/hangout around once a month so shoot me a Dm and let’s get you plugged in with the young Tucson investors here. We have some great people doing awesome things with their investing in Tucson.

@James Carlson

Where do you advertise? And how do you have the requirements set up?

I am open to putting it on Air Bnb and VRBO under a channel manager but I feel like it’s just going to be a short term rental at that point. I am trying to keep it to where the stays around around 2-3 month stays ideally.

@Rebecca E. Thanks for that advice! I will see if I can find the points of contact for housing at the few hospitals around me.

I set them up really nice and had professional photos taken. But you’re absolutely right, you have to offer a high quality product to make it in the short or medium term market.

@Paul Sandhu is there a web site that you use for that? I heard about that a while back but didn’t hear how people went about that.

And how well do they take care of the place? My travel staff that I have hosted keep it in pristine condition. Do they take care of yours?

Hey BP,

I have a couple rentals that I have up on Furnished Finder for travel medical staff. So far it’s been awesome! I haven’t had a single day of vacancy this past year even though my rates are at or above market for that space. But it’s starting to dry up a bit...

Sounds like contracts aren’t being renewed and the funding for their contracts isn’t nearly as good as it was during the height of covid (makes sense) but now I think I need to get more guests from other sites or career fields.

Do you have other ideas of where to look for guests? I don’t want to do less than a month because I love the medium term rental space. I’m thinking maybe corporate housing? Or putting it up on air bnb/VRBO/booking.com as a month minimum stay.

What works for you or what have you seen? Thanks in advance!

@Yuriy Skripnichenko

Thanks for the reply! Any ideas of a super simple PM software that doesn’t require much effort on the part of the guest? Again, I get a new guest every couple or few months so I don’t want to put them through anything lengthy or complicated just to stay with me for such a short time.

Hey BP,

I am a little stuck here... I have a few furnished units that I rent to travel nurses I get from either Facebook or FurnishedFinder and that's what I'm having trouble with. I need an app that's like Zelle or Venmo but it can be linked to several accounts. I have a different debit account for each of my units to keep things organized for taxes but Zelle and Venmo can only be linked to one account and there's a max on how much can be transferred based on my bank I'm linking them to.

I put this question up on a Facebook passive income page asking for help and everyone kept saying use a tenant portal, cash app, Venmo, Zelle, Zillow, FurnishedFinder, etc. which was of no help... I don't need a tenant portal, all I need is a money transfer app. I do not run a background check or credit check since they are travel nurses that I'm renting to and I've had nothing but positive experiences. And what I'm looking for is something quick/easy, doesn't take a whole profile to make, connects to different bank accounts, and doesn't have a small limit.

Any ideas or do I need to just to back to cash and check like we are back in the Stone Age? Jk I'm not doing that. Let me know what ideas you have or what you use!

Thanks in advance!

Just a reminder that this is tonight for anyone in Tucson that’s interested in dropping by! Shoot me a DM if you can’t find us but I’m thinking we will be up on the stage at the back right.
