I have a 4 plex in Dutchtown that I need to hire someone to rehab. It's close to St. Mary's High School and in a opportunity zone as well as historic district. Does anyone have any referrals as to insured companies that can rehab the property as well as keep it secure while rehabbing?

I'm interested as well.  I live in chesterfield but invest in south city.

Hello everyone!  I live in  west St. Louis county but invest in St. Louis city, primarily central west end and south city.  Always looking to learn and grow.

@Peter MacKercher owns a very reputable property management firm in St. Louis.  He's also an real estate investor and realtor.

His numbers aren't far off, I have a duplex in south city St. Louis, dutchtown neighborhood, and almost every one bedroom in the area is $500-600.  Yard are also small so $20-25 is on par, I've gotten quotes for those numbers.

Did you get this sold?  I own a property up the street on itaska and I'm looking to add another property in the area.

Welcome!  I live and invest in St. Louis but spend a lot of time in KC for business and have friends who live and invest in KC.  Best of luck, KC is a great market.

Welcome Cory!  I'd definitely be up for meeting for coffee if you're interested. I currently have a condo for rent and just acquired my first duplex both in St. Louis city.  My wife and I also have a 5 year old and I travel 3 days per week so I can definitely relate to your goals.  Welcome again.
