@Andrew Fidler Thank you for the advice! I will definitely check out those groups.  My husband and I both have family back at home and I know they will be a great asset supporting us but I am looking forward to expanding my network within the real estate community.

Our strategy right now is to find a good realtor and neighborhoods with good school districts and then purchase a rental, then flip a house, then rent, then flip, to keep the cash flow going.  I have started to learn about wholesalers but that strategy seems a little intimidating at this point!

Hello! My name is Lindsey and I am brand new to the BiggerPockets community.  I am currently living in Denver, but my husband and I are putting together our plan to move back to our hometown in Toledo, Ohio and become real estate investors next spring.
