@Cody Strech Call around and see if you can find an agent the specializes in VRs. If you can find this person they can look at a house and tell you exactly how much it’ll make. If they’re any good that is. Find an agent that owns and opperates propertIes of thier own. Dont be afraid to ask them how many they own. Destin seems to be a decent market and VR friendly but in my experience the returns aren’t huge and the taxes and fees are large. The condo will not be warrantable so there will be many fees involved. BUT the good news is it’s legal. Good luck! Go get em!

I would love them out. She has no interest in being reasonable with me.

How do I get them out if they’re month to month in the state of Tennessee?? Send them a letter and hope they don’t break everything?

Tenant was extremely unhappy last month, which was my fIrst month as owner, when I imformed then that their lease says there rent is $570 as opposed to the $520 they’ve been paying for 8 years. I called today (The 4th) to inform them that rent is due on the 1st and she said “it’s in the mail” and hung up on me. This tenant had been month to month for over 2 years. I’ve never done an eviction or had to ask anyone to leave. What do I do? Keep them? Get them out? Up and coming C neighborhood duplex. The other side pays $600.

@Ben Hudman Just jump in its not a big deal. Make sure it’s legal In your area and go for it! If you can’t get 1.5%++ of purchase price per month don’t bother. If it were me I’d finance that puppy and buy 5 more.

@Paul Sandhu LOL @Rita Lo sorry I don’t know anything about DFW but if you do buy and decide to self manage I’d be happy to teach you. Just google “AirBnB Dallas” and hit the news button and see if it’s scary and go from there.
