@Chris Watson when there’s no internet there’s no internet. If you get dish internet it will A. Cost you a fortune. B. You’ll run out the first day of the month and your guests will not be happy. I have one with no internet. We make sure the guests know this. We stay packed with fantastic reviews.

If you can’t get a dish signal for cable tv all you need is a chainsaw. Or hire someone that’s has one.

@Sam Shueh Is way off theres no vacancy in my market. As far as risk.... well thats subject to change per person but I concider mine next to nothing. In fact I don’t even concider it.

@Natalie Schanne has good advice my properties are vacation homes. People coming to the mountains to hike. Whole different vibe than a hotel alternative. Cleaners in my market charge around $75 for a 2 bedroom.

@Ashley Wolfe. @Jordan Moorhead is correct Austin, like most cities, is NOT short term friendly. It likely can not be done. If you do decide to go the self management rought you’ll want to get me on the phone for an hour.

@Vincent M. I apologize for the bad formatting it’s tough with the BP quotes. Short answer is if you self manage a 250k property with 20% down conventional you should pocket $800-1000 at the end of each month if you do zero repairs. I like to spend the first years income fixing up the joint. Avery has all of these answers as well. It’s fantastic to get second opinions though!
