Hi Sai. As you can see there are a lot of pros and cons for both of them regarding durability, ease of cleaning, heat conducting efficiency, cookware compatibility etc. It really depends on what you prioritize. This article goes into pros/cons further.

Hi Evelyn. I haven't done any house hacking myself, but it is definitely a popular way to start out. Doing a multi-unit on an FHA or conventional loan is a good start, while maintaining your capital. Best of luck!

Hi Omer. There are a lot of solid options out there. Which one is the best for you really depends on your priorities. (Free vs Paid, Complexity vs Ease Of Use, etc.) We personally use Innago, its free and easy-to-use. We are able to manage our properties, collect rent, screen tenants, etc. We are really happy with the software, I recommend checking them out.

Hi Matthew! Congrats on diving into the world of real estate! I would recommend to continue to learn about all the different areas of real estate, through books, guides, podcasts, etc. I would look into some virtual networking events as well. I would also try to get a feel for where your primary interests are, there are a lot of different options (BRRRR, House Hacking, Flips, Rentals, Wholesaling, etc.). I would recommend trying to dig into your market and really try to learn as much as you can about it. Finally, I would begin saving immediately. Best of luck!

As Matthew mentioned, I think two realistic options for someone with little capital is either using an FHA loan, or doing wholesaling. I would also rather have that capital go into a home, instead of wholesaling but it is really up to you and what your preference is. Best of luck!

Hi Jack. Welcome to BP! Thats great to hear you are interested in getting into real estate. I think the construction expertise will definitely help out. I would suggest trying to learn as much as possible, which it sounds like you are already doing pretty well. There are a ton of resources available on BiggerPockets, and I would look into using them whether its blog posts, guides, books, podcasts, etc. I would also really try to dive into your market, and become an expert in it. Best of luck!

Hi Jessica. I think there are opportunities on all major platforms, depending on your goals and creativity. I would focus on creating engaging content for users, and limit direct advertising as much as possible if you are trying to grow your following and develop a community. You want to be providing value for them. If you are solely looking for leads, I would try to geo-target people within my preferred location radius and try to find where they are interacting on each platform. It may be a local group/page/marketplace on FB, or a local hashtag on IG, etc. What are your goals for social media?

Hi @Ron Sponseller congrats on taking the first steps! I would suggest really learning about real estate investing, whether that is through blogs, books, webinars, podcasts, etc. there is always something you can learn. I suggest checking out the Biggerpockets bookstore, or their blog as a good starting point. The other area I would focus on is mastering your market, I would try to learn as much as I can about the Akron/Canton area. Best of luck!

We have used Raid or Home Defense on ant/insect problems in the past, otherwise hiring pest control will take care of it. I am not sure what kind of ants they could be but this article may help out. Best of luck.
