You must have a separate security deposit bank account for them meaning you can't use your own. Google NJ rent security deposit laws and it will tell you what you can and can't do.  You must state it in the lease the bank name, address, and the interest rate, and give back the interest. Go to any bank and they will open it with you.

Looking for recommendations for a Myrtle Beach South Carolina lawyer that can review a proposed Purchase and Sale Agreement to buy an apartment building in the area. Our LOI was accepted but want to make sure we are protected for the potential purchase by reviewing the P&S agreement. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks !

It's about 11 houses east of Old York Rd within the first block at 621 Dumbarton. Is that too close ? It's certainly not a few blocks as it's within the first block. Doesn't sound like you on keen on it. What do you think ? @Ozzy Sirimsi

An investor brought me a deal for my rental portfolio for $ 55,000 purchase; Rent $ 1000/month; Tenant is already in place; Property Taxes $ 1600;  3BR/1 Bath Row house on Dumbarton Avenue in the Pen Lucy Area of Baltimore. The home is in pretty decent shape. I know its a block by block analysis and I plan to visit this weekend but for you Baltimore investors; any thoughts on the area and/or the numbers presented ? I am an out of state investor but have looked in Baltimore before but not purchased. Thanks for any feedback.
