@Eric James do you have something positive to add? πŸ‘€ I don't like when people shy away from an idea or tell others to do the same because they are to afraid to make it happen, they don't have the know how, or they can't see past their front porch because of some bad experience or werid comfort zone. I only want to talk to people who are clearly doing it not with someone who wants to deter me from it. I have no problem hearing caution or actual advice because they tried it and it didn't work for them but don't flat out tell me I shouldn't do it. πŸ™‚

@Lindsay Davis Hey love! Thank you so much for the feedback! You are right in your assumption, I have done a few deals locally, but no flips. I'm reading books and working on getting hands on experience in my backyard by partnering with experienced flippers on deals.

This week I have actually been thinking about planning week long stays in the markets that I would invest in. That way I can spend time learning that market first hand through physical exploring and having conversations with big players (agents, brokers, investors, etc) and also build my team. I am working on getting specific about the markets that I would do deals in virtually so that I can start planning my travel out and start making it happen.

Hey Investor Family!

Theses days I'm becoming more realistic with my goal setting. I'm getting rid of the audacious goals that I fail to meet in the short time frame that I set for them. In order to make more realistic obtainable goals, I need to take real data (or in this case real life experiences) and use that to formulate my own timeline.

I'm looking to get 35 properties/units in the next 5 years that are cash flowing $300/door.

My long term goal is to to obtain 2800 units that are bringing in $10 million/year. I'm thinking I can do this in the next 10 years.

Buy & Hold Investors:

1. In your experience how many doors were you able to add to your portfolio on average each year?

2. Are you investing locally or out of state?

3. Do you have properties in more than one state?

Creative Buy & Hold Investors (this would be all of you who do lease options, seller financing, wraps, subject tos, etc):

1.Do you find that you have to continously build your portfolio due to payoffs by the end buyer?

2. Do you find that going the creative route creates more opportunity for wealth building?

Thanks in advance for the feedback! Any advice would be appreciated! Tell me when you started and where you are now! Give me the details!
