That is not a con, it is a pro. In all, but a few states, storage unit facilitates don't fall under tenant eviction laws. It is a piece of cake to have people and personal items vacated from the storage unit.

Are you f'ing kidding me? The Realtor and squatters should be arrested!

Try pulling that in a hard core red state. I can see a bunch investors, realtors, etc. doing a citizen's arrest Vic Mackey-style.

Two of our company's team members lost a father (died unexpectedly) and the other a grandfather in the past few days. A stark reminder that our time on this Earth is finite.

So, I very am grateful for my friends and family. Without them, I would not be the person I am today.

It's not you.

I speak from experience, because my BP and I have been approaching banks in the past two months. Banks are coming up with every excuse in the book not to lend. Go to 10 different banks, you'll get 10 different answers as to why they can't lend to you.

My best success has come from using lenders who we have a prior relationship with (assuming they have not capped themselves for the rest of the remaining year).

Exactly!

It is far easier to manage 2 or 3 PMs then 50 or more households.

Having lived in Wisconsin for a few years, I know one thing you may want to think about.

Wisconsin has the 5th highest tax burden in the Union and property taxes ain't cheap. Right off the bat you will have forces that you can't control, nipping at your NOI. Funny stuff.

A year from now rates will go up. With so much US government deficit spending that is going on, and the money supply being finite in any given static time period, our own government is going to be competing against it's citizens for potential lenders.
