If you are looking for a beachy location, here in North Carolina they have wonderful beaches (Outer Banks, Carolina Beach, Oak Island, etc.) and are well established. With that said, I have a property in North Myrtle Beach that is performing well at the moment and my family has been going to Myrtle Beach over 15 years while living in the North East so naturally that was the market we decided we would start our investing journey. Its a fun family beach that we enjoy and know many others do as well hence the investment opportunity. I suggest start with the markets you know well, that you like to vacation and if they don't pencil out then maybe start your search for other markets to invest in that meet your needs. All depends on your comfort level and what personal goals you have for your investing journey. Best!!

Hey Fellow Investors!

Pints & Properties - Raleigh Meetup, if you don't know already, is an open networking event so we can build the community and connection of like minded people! We will bring a relaxed vibe while hopefully bringing some extra value with short intro guest speakers lined up throughout the year, meeting up is the LAST Thursday of every Month.

This Month, please join @Mitch Miller and I at Fortnight Brewing Company - Backroom (Cary) Thursday (May 26th) @ 6:30PM to hear our guest speaker, @Shelby (Osborne) Johnson, the founder of Pints & Properties Meetups as she is here to share about her journey "Army to Entrepreneur: 74 Rentals in 3 Years"

Shelby was in the Army just 3 short years ago. Since then she has acquired 74 rentals and crushed it in all things business and real estate. She was awarded rookie of the year in your first year as an agent for all of the Carolinas with Keller Williams. She then started her own brokerage that focuses on helping Investors and military meet their goals. She has been featured on the bigger pocket podcast, episode 406, along with speaking at some BP national events as well.

As always, there is no cost to attend and no obligation to purchase anything. This is open to the public.

We will have a structure of a 6:30pm Start for Shelby to speak and then open for social networking around 7-7:15pm. Just show up and talk real estate regardless of experience level and hopefully learn something new from your fellow neighbor.

We look forward to meeting you and hopefully seeing similar faces.

@Jose Ortega. We got the property listed at the beginning of the month and it has been going very well so far. The summer is basically all booked up and the projects are close to my numbers I ran. I think there is some optimization that I could do to get a little better of a return, but we are happy with the current progress.

@Eddie Veiga yeah, I'm pretty much an open book so send me a message and lets chat about it.
