It is a great way to get started in real estate. To learn the rental market and to develop proof of income when you go to buy your next property (takes two years). It is how we got started as investors. Good luck. Come out and meet some of us at the next meetup. Another person is organizing it. You can find the info in the forums. We have gone the past two times and there are several new investors and seasoned investors. Going to the Richardson Meetup was great too. No sales pitches just people networking.

you missed a meet up this past Thursday in Richardson at Fox and Hound. There were about 30-40 people. Tonight we had one in Dallas at The Gingerman. Both are monthly. People just come and go. All levels of investors from wanting to get started to hard core investors/flippers/wholesalers.The Dallas group I think we are going to meet once more at the end if the month then make it the last Thursday of every month. It was just the second meeting for this group. My husband I just sold our first flip last thursday. So we are new ourselves. Good luck. Hope to see you later this month.

We just recently set up an LLC. We already own rental property and will gave capital gains from the sale of a couple of properties we need a CPA specializing in real estate to help us moving forward with our new business. We would appreciate suggestions of people in the Dallas Metroplex area.
Thank you!

my husband and I are interested in wholesale deals. We are still learning the ropes of rehabbing. We are just finishing up our first rehab in Elmwood/ Oak Cliff. Hopefully it will be on the market 11/1/2016. We should be ready to find another house to flip.

Have you had any luck over the last year? Have you bought a property? My husband and I started with a duplex and we lived in one side. It helped us be sure we were really interested in being a landlord. We are currently finishing up our first flip and should have it on the marketin the next two weeks.

Have you had much luck bird dogging? Have you been to any REIA meetings yet? We are just about ready to find our next property. Our current rehab should be on the market by Nov 1st 2016.
Thanks.

How has your first year of flipping gone? How many houses have you done? We are finishing up our first rehab in the Elmwood area. Have you found a wholesaler to work with? Thanks.
