I am suggesting getting those initial clicks is important.  I think bidding enough to get top position at first is important.

I take a huge amount of payments with a company I own.  Things are not quite as perfect as you might think.

Was the payment automatic?

If so it could be as simple as the card expired before it was processed.  He could have gotten a new card from one of the many banks that have had to issue new cards because of date breaches.  There could have been a system problem.

Did it say "payment failed" or "insufficient funds"?

First thing to do is to find out what happened.  It might not be anything.

If there had been a real issue I would not have been happy paying him.  That is because he should have known their would have been a problem before filing the return.

In this case, it seems like it was just a simple request for clarification.  They are common in complex returns.  It is not always a sign that he did anything at all substandard.

To me it is good to start high.  Adwords will rank your link with a better quality if you get clicks at first.  That will make you be higher later for less money.

@Sean Dolan  It might a good idea to mention @Ryan Dossey to get his attention.

It is important to understand 10 square feet in downtown can be worth more than 10,000 acres in the desert.

So is it wrong to go to the house about an hour before dark and explain to the squatters that you have insurance and the best thing for you if they are not gone in the next few hours is for it to burn down tonight?

If that does not work... there is always the seller taking a loan against the property and not paying it back and doing deed in lieu of foreclosure.

I am evil so if they said I could not list it I would put a "for sale" sign the yard.

If they said anything about the sign we would be in federal court so fast their heads would spin.

They would pay my legal fees to get the injunction against them.

The sign and I believe the listing is speech.

They really should not forget this is the court that decided Citizens United.

The most important case about signs was in the 1970s.  It was an 8-0 decision.

Do any of these ordinances limit the transfer of real property to another entity? If not it would be simple to put it as the only asset of an LLC or something similar and then find a buyer for the LLC.

As always... if you have more than a small problem with a government entity pay a lawyer to deal with it.

I would not even consider buying a house I was afraid going o without police protection.  Life is short.  Do not live in fear.  If the area bothers you, simply stop looking there.
