@Pat Jackson, Thanks for being positive with your comment.  I do what I do for a couple of reasons.  One of them is I love to partner with investors who find great deals for what we do.

Most of the properties I like to purchase are higher dollar ones that most investors can't afford and haven't had experience with.  I don't do carpet and paint rehabs.

I have found that if people learn what it is that I'm looking for, then they find a deal and I can partner with them.  I get a property that perhaps I wouldn't have found on my own and they get to share in a profit on a deal that they wouldn't have been able to do by themselves.  Plus, they learn through the whole process.

Sadly, the guru world isn't what most think.  Most gurus don't own any property, wouldn't come within a mile of helping a student/investor actually do a deal and try to profit just on seminars alone.

It is easy to think everyone is that way, but they aren't.  My phone number and email is on everything here on BP.  I'd love to chat more if you really are interested in something different.  (And we don't work in Reno, if you think that there is a catch.  I've spent a lot of time chatting with people from which I have nothing to gain.)

@Victor Evans, I have a ton of clients, partners and people I've worked with in your neck of the woods.

Man, the referrals I could send to you..........

How much work do you do with people in Baltimore, DC, Northern Virginia (Arlington, Alexandria, Annandale, Falls Church, Fairfax), Gaithersburg, Rockville, Bethesda, Hagerstown, Towson and Columbia?

All of my people are always looking for a great Engineer.

@Caleb Heimsoth, we actually do a fair amount of business on Facebook, but sadly every time you figure out an angle there, FB comes in and takes it away.  That could be an amazing tool.

@Jay Hinrichs, I don't know anyone that has hasn't had their bumps in the road.  Some are just less visible than others.

It is sad that there are so many egos on BP.  I was warned when I came on here just how arrogant so many are.  I've only seen two really arrogant people though, but it is glorious when you see it.  I haven't decided how much I want to interact here because there are so few active participants.

What most don't understand is just how hollow the hubris is......... and easy to see too.

Anyway, I think it is commendable Jay when people try to help like you do.  That certainly is a different approach than attacking.  Thanks for the good example.

@Account Closed, I am done trying to communicate with you.  You have judged and misjudged me and what I'm doing here and I am sure you will continue to do so.

You aren't attacking me to help anyone.  People aren't stupid.  I am all over the internet as even you've been able to see for yourself.  That will always be the case with what I've been through.

This was a small event post in little Utah with a small handful of people saying that they are going to attend and you had to stop by and bully me and attack me, without even asking a question I might add.  To see if you could take what I've been through and make it worse.  Beat your chest a little bit.  How sad is that Anish?  And again, I know you don't care.  I am not writing this for you.  I am writing it for the other people that are sending me private messages and emails about how bent you are about bullying me.

I would happily explain my program, because it is different.  The reason I do it is different.  The goals we have for participants is different, but you haven't taken the time to learn that, you've just bullied and belittled.  And I'm not here to sell something.  I haven't even posted in BP where things are for sale.  I have different reasons for what I do.  And if I explained it, you'd simply criticize something else.  That is what big egos and narcissism do.

Do you know how many phone calls and emails I've taken from people in this program that had a question about seller financing or what it is we do, that aren't in Utah?  And I've happily helped everyone I could.  There was nothing to sell, but people to help.

I have paid some heavy prices for things I didn't do and a few things I did.  I did nothing criminal, dishonest or fraudulent.  I wouldn't have received a civil complaint after 2.5 bloody years with the SEC, if that was the case.  Even you should be smart enough to acknowledge that.  But again, that isn't your concern because the truth is not why you are here.

How different could this whole thread be if you started out with a couple of simple questions instead of slandering and defaming me?  But your ego got the best of you, and we both know why, perhaps you just can't see it though.

I was thinking today about what would drive someone as smart as you are to beat on someone who has been so much, like I have and I actually had compassion on you.  I was going to reach out to you in private, because I don't need everyone to see me, like you do....... but then you bashed me again.

Well, I am done dealing with you.  You've lived your life this long doing what you do to people.  What chance do I have to change that?  The sad thing is, is I used to be at least as arrogant as you are and the Lord has a way of only putting up with that for so long...... And then He takes it away through very painful occurrences.

Humble yourself Anish or that day will come for you.  I will pray for you.

@Account Closed, you’ve made my point again.

It’s too bad that they don’t require decency to get A PhD, because you’d have to give yours back.

You’re just a bully in a society that doesn’t like bullying anymore. I’ve paid deeply for circumstances, issues and mistakes that I’ve been through and bullies like you are going to keep it going. I’m open about my life and the deep struggles I’ve had. I’m doing my best to move forward.

And my response isn’t typical, although I’m guessing you’d say just about anything to hurt another human being that is trying his/her best, with that ego of yours.

Again, kudos for your goodness and decency. I can see why you only have 115 friends on Facebook. Nobody pays attention to your rants over there either.

Lastly, I hope you encounter better people than you, if you or anyone you care about ever struggles in life.

Again, keep up the goodness Anish.

@Account Closed, I was quite suprised to see your comment on here.  I am newer to Bigger Pockets and have mostly found people to show integrity, be positive and supportive of others.  That you opted to take a different route, not knowing me or my program, honestly took me by surprise.

I have always tried to think the best of others until I have a real and concrete reason not to do so.  And even if I have a program, that doesn't mean it is "guru crap" that you should disparage and slander. again with no knowledge of what we do.  I would never treat you that way.

It is unfortunate that you aren't closer and can see our program, because it is very different that the rest.  We do have a lot of deals that we are working on, but a big part of our business model is based on partnering with those in our program.

We teach people how to look at properties differently.  The tried and tired carpet and paint rehabs are in the past for us.  We don't beat people down on their price so we can make more money.  We focus on Use Changes because we know that when we change the use, we change the value.

Most people that learn our program often lack one or more of the following things; expertise on use changes, connection for construction and development, cash for downpayments, credit for financing bigger projects, the ability to seller finance and more.

So we teach people how to find the deals and then they have the option to partner with us, should they choose.  Most do and it becomes a win/win.   And again, we have our own deals, but we find that we can cast a much wider net with lots of eyes out looking for the types of things we do.

I hope you have a great day.  My phone number is all over just about everything if you ever want to find out about what we do.  That way you can give much more accurate feedback in the future.
