@Anna S., YES, you and your husband can both register separately with the coupon code "guest" and get in the meeting for free.  When the doors open at 6pm, there's 30 minutes of informal networking and we have a buffet dinner (optional) that you can purchase for $15.  At 6:30pm the meeting officially starts.  We will be discussing deal structuring and negotiation techniques, and how to do deals with little or none of your own money or credit.  There will be no selling or pitching of any products/services (and there never is!)  It will be a great meeting, especially if you're just getting started.  Meeting should wrap up around 8:30pm.  REAPS is a not-for-profit investor group (the largest in WA State)  To join as a couple for the entire year is only $245 which gets you free access to over 80 events per year that are held around the Puget Sound.  The member benefits that you get for joining will usually more than pay for the annual membership, including a bi-annual 2% Home Depot rebate, paint/carpet/office supply discounts, a Passport Card which gives unlimited 2 for 1 dinners at over 160 Puget Sound restaurants, and of course the education and networking opportunities which is the most valuable part.  Membership is really a no-brainer, but you should definitely come out tonight to see for yourself.  Hopefully we will see you there!

Anna, you should definitely come to the REAPS Kitsap investor meeting this Thursday at 6pm at the Kitsap Conference Center.  It's a great group of investors, from newbies to full-time and a great way to learn and network.  Everyone is really friendly, I'm sure you will like it. You can attend your first meeting for free by using the coupon code "guest" when you preregister at www.reapsweb.com (click on Calendar to find the meeting).  Hope to see you there!

The Real Estate Association of Puget Sound (REAPS) is the largest real estate investor group in the state of Washington.

The Kitsap chapter invites YOU to join us on Thursday January 7th as we kick off our 2016 investor meeting schedule at our NEW LOCATION!! That’s right, to quote The Jefferson’s, we’re “Movin’ On Up”, with all future meetings at the Kitsap Conference Center in Downtown Bremerton, right next to the ferry terminal. Also, each meeting is now a Meals N Deals format so you’ll get to enjoy fantastic dinner and drinks while you network and learn. (Buffet dinner is $15, pre-payment is required and includes tax and gratuity)

Join us this month as we welcome special guest Frank Warner, with Gintz-Warner, PLLC - CPA out of Silverdale, WA. Frank will be discussing changes to the 2016 tax code that may affect your real estate business, and show you how to save taxes by picking the right entity to operate out of. This can save you thousands of dollars a year in taxes, so you don’t want to miss it.

Bring your tax and entity questions to this content-packed meeting! It’s going to be a great kickoff to 2016. Doors open at 6pm for networking, meeting begins at 6:30pm. Attendees coming from Seattle can walk on the 4:20pm or 5:35pm Seattle-Bremerton ferry. Passenger fare is $8.10 heading to Bremerton and FREE coming back to Seattle!

Go to

http://www.memberize.com/ClubPortal/EventDisplayNew.cfm?clubID=173&eventID=227966 to pre-register!  If you've never attended a REAPS meeting before, you can get in FREE by using coupon code "guest" at signup.  (Dinner is extra)

@Chris Finney, welcome to BP.  I'm a multifamily investor here in Bremerton, this is a great place to invest in my opinion.  You should come to the REAPS Kitsap meeting which will be this Thursday Jan 7 at the Kitsap Conference Center at 6pm.  It will be a great opportunity to meet other local investors.  (www.reapsweb.com to sign up)  Send me a message if you'd like to get together for coffee.
