@Don Van Nguyen It is very easy to set up your bank account with Fundrise. I'm not sure about dividends being processed into my bank account though, since we reinvest them into our Fundrise account each time. I always receive an email stating that dividends have been reinvested for you. I can go on Fundrise and see the increase of how much I've invested right then. There's no specific date of release each quarter though, just a headline, like "your next dividend is scheduled mid October" or whenever it is.

Hey Bigger Pockets Community!! I'm looking at starting an LLC. My dilemma is though that I live in Utah and am flipping a property in Maryland. Should I found the LLC in UT and register it as a foreign LLC in MD? Or just simply found it in MD? I have family in MD who can act as my registered agent with an address if I need to. But not sure what the best strategy is here. Thanks for your time and input in advance!

My wife and I invested through Fundrise a little while back and we love it! We started like you with the starter portfolio and every now and then we'll put a little more in there to get to the next plan up. We love it though! We get our quarterly dividends (which we just choose to reinvest right back into our fund) and we can see how much we've earned since investing. It's a pretty cool site and we hope to have a pretty decent passive income from them a few years down the road from now.

Welcome Jordan! I'm also a new investor, in Provo though, not Ogden. Looking to get started with SFR flips and Brrrr-ing MFR properties. I'm good with numbers and analyzing deals. Hit me up if you ever need any assistance in any way! I do know a few good property managers up in Ogden and Logan. Or if you would ever be interested in partnering on a deal or two, I would be open to that. Good luck though in getting started and welcome to BP!

I‘ve looked into them as well. One of their stipulations is they charge a 9.99% fee of whatever you get approved for. If you get approved for 100K, that puts you 10K in the hole right off the bat. Their 0% interest rate though will give you a few months to make that back, but unless you know you can profit 10K somehow with their money then it might not be worth it.

My name is Nate Allan originally from American Fork, UT and Centennial, CO, but currently living in Provo, UT. I work as an Assistant Director of Operations for a Software company. I have a real knack for numbers and analyzing data. I'd like to build a real estate portfolio to the point that supports financial freedom in the next 8 years or so, through rental properties. I plan to build up some capital mostly through fix and flips to the point where I can put 20% down on rental properties and even BRRRR some small multi-family properties down the road.

I found BiggerPockets when I googled a guru I was introduced to back in September of 2017. Since then I have continued to read posts and finally decided to become a member a little while ago. I love the information here and love the community I can be a part of here. I'm looking forward to building a network here with people all over the country and getting started as a Real Estate Investor!
