Hi,

Thanks @Michaela G. & @Walt Payne . There is a storage and covered from the end where this pic is taken. That sounds like an Idea to open up the other end. Also like Michaela mentioned, I have been told to turn the cabinets to white. Looks like that seems to be the trend.

Regards,

ND.

Hi,

Working on a rehab to rent out a property, but keeping in mind that when time is right to put it up for sale. So when putting in money and time, want to know how can this kitchen be improved? Looking for Ideas. Pictures helpful too.

The problem is walls on either side cannot be changed. The most I can play with is cabinets and counter top.

I am thinking to knock off closed cabinets on one side, probably above the sink and make it an open storage space by adding either alluminium or metal stand. Then on the left side, remove that whole block to left of cooking range, turn it to make it adjacent (yes leaves less walking space to storage( from where this pic was taken), and add 2 stools.

Appreciae tips/Ideas.

If it helps to know, this property is in NorCal, SF Easy Bay region.

Thanks,
Naveen.

Hi Don,

I admire your enthusiasm and interest in RE. On a side-note education is valuable too. Many a times if things dont go as planned, money and properties can be taken away from you, while the education you do is with you for life. Having said that, Plan better & do both :). A little hard, but with your kind of energy, I know you can do it. How about going to become a Real Estate Attorney ? Now dont that Interest you? :) good luck.

Hi Folks,

For those all of you looking to invest near Cinci, network with folks from citi-bank. It is moving its operations to Dallas region and many employees may sell and move. Obviously it being good new area, Mason and around, you may not get a wholesale deal, but properties may be new and for someone who want to buy and hold, may be a good option. If property is new, I suppose less maintenance and good for out of state investors. Am looking there too and have made inroads into folks with some employees who share their network news :).

Thanks,

ND.

Hi, Being SF, you have not mentioned the sq ft size of the house. Since the house was rented at 3K, I believe you should be able to rent it at that price. Again I don't know which part of SF is this property in, but if it was me, I would try to hold onto it.

Also do you know how soon or late will the city take to allow and permit in-law units to be legalized. This info would be of help to make a decision, I think.

Hello,

Urgently looking for FSBO, and owner financed or rent-to-owner. Atleast 2 room, 2 bath. More lands around would be awesome.

Post: Rent based on Credit score? valid?

Hi,

There is so much to credit score in this country. However I wonder the same rule of bank charging different interest rates to different scores does not seem to apply for house rents?

Wondering if it should be the case and if its legal? My properties are in FL, OH, CA and TX if regions matters at all.

Between, I do understand the risk of just renting to get more $$s, against keeping your property safe.

Just a thought out there and would like to see what do you folks think?

Thanks.
