Hey there! We have 5 roommates (rent by the room method) and we bake the utilities into the monthly rent. It's way easier for us and keeps roommate squabbles about "who uses more hot water" non existent.

Hey Josh! Congrats! That's amazing! I love the military edge you have in the market. I totally agree that most people want to room with people that are similar to them, and that's a great bonding point!

Post: REI Connect @ Roseville: Building Long Term Wealth with Passive Income

Our guest speaker this week will be Erin Swanberg!
Her passion for real estate sparked in 2013 when she began her journey as a Realtor in our local market. Eager to explore new avenues, Erin added an arm to her business, flipping homes—a venture that allowed her to capitalize on her knack for transforming neglected properties into stunning living spaces. Her passion for real estate extended beyond short-term gains. Recognizing the power of long-term rentals as a stable source of passive income, she started to focus on building a portfolio of income-generating properties. She started with singe family rentals and moved into larger asset classes such as multi-family, mobile home parks, commercial property and synciations.
Investing in real estate has truly changed the trajectory for Erin and her family which sparked a desire to help others do the same. She now mentors others, giving them the same tools she used to have the confidence to take the leap into buying passive income properties that cash flow and create a life by design.
The format for this event will be, as usual:
6:00 - 6:45 Attendee Intros
6:45 - 7:15 Guest Speakers w/ Q&A
7:15 - 9:00 Attendee Networking
Please feel free to share the event with others and bring a friend with you! See you at Lola's!

Hey Christian! First of all, CONGRATS! That's a huge accomplishment! :)
This is a great question for a lender! Do you have a good relationship with your original lender? They should be happy to answer this kind of question for you. If not send me a DM and I might know someone in your state! (I didn't see it listed in the post so I'm not sure where you're located)

Hi Jorge! I'm not familiar with the particular area, but I love this idea. My husband always shared a house with like 6 of his guy friends in college and if he didn't have a group of friends to live with I'm sure he would have looked into renting by the room.
We use roomies.com when we looking for roommates in our house hack, there tends to be a younger generation on there. You can actually go on there right now and look at the "roommates" looking for places to rent in your city. You'll be able to get a general idea of age, demographic, and price point after a few pages of scrolling profiles.
And Facebook marketplace is a great place to post!
