@Kristen Twomey oh interesting. Is that difference just apparent in different rates, or is there another indicator on HAR if that’s been taken or not?

I'm new to town, so I can't comment too specifically on how this market is, but there's a lot of property on the MLS, and there's a few possible rehabs on there that my realtor and I are exploring.

Hey @Firen Forrest! I just moved to the Houston area, and am in a similar boat lookin’ for similar properties. Taxes definitely are higher here than in some other places, and locals have been warning me to stay clear of the flood zones.

@Norb Schneider Not very familiar with those markets, but I've been through Franklin a few times and it seems like a vibrant place (attended a film festival in town). I know a few people who've moved there recently, seems like a popular suburb of Nash.

@Jeremy Myers, awesome! Definitely keep me in the loop when a date's solidified and I'll make every effort to be there!

@Norb Schneider, I think I'll end up in West or North West Houston, but until I'm there who knows! Let's definitely connect.

As for other markets, I own a Triplex in Chattanooga, TN, and it's a pretty strong market (albeit on the smaller side). I could connect you with a realtor and PM that are solid in the area if you want to explore that market as well.
