@Kelly Heraux-Arana   Great to see another local member here!  Welcome and congrats on being a new agent in CA!  I'm always looking to connect with local members as I am always in search of properties to wholesale or flip.  Feel free to reach out to me.  Cheers!

@John Blackman   Congratulations John!  Thank you for sharing your story!  I am hoping to make it out and leave my day job to full-time investing in a couple of years.  Thanks for the inspiration!

Exactly.  What are your other options of putting that 25K where it would generate more than $650/mo?  Of course, in CA, I don't know what investment would generate that kind of cashflow with 25K, much less 1K.

Does anyone have a contractor that they can recommend in Los Angeles?  This particular job would be for Canyon Country but I do need contractors for other projects in the near future.  Thanks!

And, if you know of any septic inspectors, that would be great, too!

Thanks!

@Danny Simard   Ahh... the normal and typical Socal commute.  I used to work in Westwood.   However, I still live on the westside.  So, if you ever want to meet up, let me know.  I can zip up to Westwood after work.  Or maybe we can meet in downtown Culver City.  I live one block away.

@Danny Simard   Welcome to BP Danny!  That is great that you are listening to the podcasts on your commute.  Where do you have to commute to every day for that long?

Perhaps we we network together when you are working as an agent down in Long Beach. Good luck with everything and be sure to ask lots of questions!  There are endless amount of great resource here!

@Wendell De Guzman   Great Week #14 update!  I'm always taking extra note on your Not-So-Goods of the week.  It is good to remember and stay away from the possible pitfalls of investing.

In the meanwhile, thanks for sharing the 5 sources!  I'm pretty busy with working on the leads that I am getting from just using a few of your sources! Thanks Wendell!

@Lynn Currie

Sounds like we might be in the same boat! I have a condo in 78704 as well. It would cashflow if I can get a refinance on it. But, that is what I'm debating.. if there is going to be a bubble. The prices have climbed up nicely in the past two years, at least for my unit. Only problem is that I hate the HOA that I deal with.. Ug
