Congrats!!

Rich, you beat me to it today. I've been at a charity event all day, but wanted to jump in ASAP to thank everyone that attended last night. Several of us stayed until 11:30:)
Jeff got hung up with lost keys on the strip, so unfortunately he didn't make it. I told him I'd fill him in. I think several connections were made for those that did get there, and I'm sure some business will be done. I really appreciate the candid sharing of ideas and history. I'll keep you all posted with the next meeting date. Have a great weekend!

Transparency is important. If you're honest with others about your experience level and what you bring to the table, people will be drawn to you. If you try to pretend, people sniff it out. Most successful people enjoy helping those that are starting out if they feel appreciated and that they're investing their time in someone that is a good person.

Go Bulldogs! Des Moines has changed a lot since I was there. Seems like it would be a very stable place to invest. Best of luck to you.

Thanks for all the private comments. Since I originally posted, I have added clients looking for C class property as well. Price range can be much lower to start, but cap rates will need to be 8 or above.
