Joshua DorkinThank you! You and your team are really on top of things. I appreciate all the hard work you're doing to make the site even better. The changes I've seen in the past few days look great. Keep it up!

Joshua Dorkin
I checked the settings for notifications, but it was set to receive those.

I have a couple of listings on BP. How can I set it up so that I get a notification when someone has commented on a listing?

As Callum mentioned, you'll need to provide the rules and regs for the HOA if the property is located in such an area. I'd also let them know what the trash days are. We have the tenants sign a smoke detector agreement and a drug-free housing agreement.

Depends upon what you plan to do. If you want to be an MD, you need a degree. If you want to start a business, I'd say experience is more important. There are different types of education, and a degree/college only one of them.

Hi Maria,
You could create a site that is more of a business card or profile. You should probably figure out what you plan to do before you create a marketing website. That said, I'd start with the online profiles first: LinkedIn, Facebook, Bigger Pockets, etc. I noticed one thing you can do right away. Upload a photo to your BP profile, but make sure it delivers the message you want to convey.

What are you trying to do exactly?

Hi Maria,
Glad I could give you a little boost. I'm sure the seminar had a lot of great tips. In fact, I recommend reading up on the topic of networking. Check out www.bni.com for links to some great books. There's lots of advice about ways to build credibility. People do business and help those they know, like, and trust. Focus on the first two to get started, and work on ways to build up your credibility as you go. However, there are several little things you can do from the start that go a long way.
Here's a few: dress appropriately, have good hygiene, if you have biz cards make them look professional, buy a domain name for your email address, create a website, make sure your online profiles are up to date and professional, have a professional voicemail message, return phone calls and emails, don't give someone a dead fish handshake (own it), listen, take care when writing emails, and the list goes on. Most of this stuff people learn in grade school, but these little things are often taken for granted.
