Just FYI we are NOT meeting next month because of the coronavirus. I will be posting the next meet up date shortly and if this whole pandemic thing doesn’t clear up by then we will cancel that one as well! Hope y’all are crushing it and taking the time to dig into your business and systems. Stay safe and good luck!

Just in case anyone was curious the virus has had a huge impact. Beaches are closed yada yada yada same old crap. Just forget I posted anything about not being effected yet!

update: we had our first guest decide to cancel their trip last min for this weekend. Property rebooked in 3 hours. People are still traveling to CB as of right now.

@Rick Oaks, we only use Airbnb. As of right now there is no travel advisory and therefore would not fall under the extenuating circumstances policy. If We do have a concern about the coronavirus we’re going to handle it on a case-by-case basis. this is a sticky situation because some of our guest have been booked for months while others have booked during the pandemic. 

@Rich McElaney, we just had our first guest decide not to proceed with booking for a week long stay inquiry in the summer because of the Coronavirus. That was followed by 4 other bookings so I’m still not worried but it has officially happened to us!

Hi Rich, great to hear that you found a property! We have not had a single cancellation from coronavirus as of yet And our bookings have started to come in strong for the upcoming season.
