Yikes! Not sure whether to laugh at the oddness of that statement or be seriously disturbed. This is definitely the most unique response to a denied application that I've heard.

TransUnion's SmartMove screening is what we use, and I recommend it. It's actually built into the management software we use, but I know a lot of landlords who use it on its own and love it!

I'm not a fan of renting to friends, but ultimately I think you should treat all your renters exactly the same whether they're friends or not. This helps prevent any hard feelings or tricky situations. Business is business, and blurring the lines can always add messiness.

Haha definitely the oddest question I've seen on BP, but I enjoyed reading through people's answers.
I add together 48 & 20 to equal 68, and then add 7 to equal 75.
