Hello everyone ! 

First of all, Thanks in advance for reading, replying and interacting with my post. I have been ''lurking'' around BP for a while now and finally decided to jump in (Sign up) and join everyone. There is a abundance of information here. An education you cannot find elsewhere. (Unless you pay thousands and thousands) Trust me, I know .... Anyhow, I am honored to be apart of the BP community. Although, I am new here. Real estate is no stranger to me. I come from a family in the industry with my father had a R.E brokerage for many years prior to selling. 

It is my strong and firm belief is my NETWORK is my NET-WORTH. I am always open to working with seasoned and new investors. That is what I am here to do. 

-To learn and grow as an individual.Personally and professionally. As a Real Estate Consultant and Investor. I've linked other investors with many OTMD (Off the market deals).

Hey @Seth Hobbs. Thanks for the start of this thread. Your right,There has been a shift but not as bad as we might feel. I was asking a couple of members on my power-team the same question a few days prior.  Mortgage rates shot up like a rocket in November and December of 2016, reaching their highest level in two years. According to the weekly survey conducted by Freddie Mac, the average rate for a 30-year fixed home loan rose to 4.16% during the week ending on December 15, 2016. 

The energy sector did take a hit but were poised to bounce back as a city. I am looking to get these millennials into the game of home ownership.So far so good. I have been able to hook other investors up with some off the market deals. As inventory grow in the Houston market. We will be able to help each other and get a piece of the pie.
