I don't think Fannie Mae requires a seasoning period , banks add there own rules. Find a local bank or credit union that doesn't add their own seasoning period.

It would be a good idea, that way you know what amount you are qualified for and can start by analyzing properties in that price range . Once you find a good deal you can act faster since you are now prequalified.

bp community , I will be going to my first foreclosure sale beginning of October just to observe and get a feel for it. However I would like to purchase properties from a sale in the near future, but have read many horror stories lol. Mainly because of lack of due diligence.. my question is would getting an O&E report on a prospect property be the best route to take? At the local reia the speaker once mentioned a title company that will do them for 25$. Any thoughts? Thanks!
