@Dell Epps Thank you for responding.

So the premise the Accountant was telling me and my partner was, It is not necessarily in our favor to jump into the S Corp. He was saying that initially we have no capital coming into the entity from the 3 of us as we are developing Hard Money Lenders and Private Money Lenders. He continued stating, the LLC partnership would be suitable and protect us as well as the S-Corp. Then once the business expands then we can have the conversation to upscale and account for the nuances of the S-Corp. Indicating that the LLC Partnership is a lot less structured and hassle-less vs S-Corp. My thing was getting around the Self Employment tax

@J Scott So my situation is the following.

I have two other business partners. One that is here with me in RI the other lives in D.C. We plan to rehab and flip properties and wholesale properties. Once we gather more capitals we will buy and hold properties. We considering the S Corp because of the self employment tax benefits in terms of K Distribution and Salary vs being an LLC that is subject to that tax.

@J Scott Thank you for the response.

Now is it better to start off as a S Corp? I spoke to a few lawyers and accountants and they said that it is better to start as a LLC Partnership vs starting a S Corp because you need a lot more capital.
