Ie does your city or county have str restrictions or license requirements ir other issues.
Problems start or are avoided by the location of yiur str house, ie closeness ti neighborhoods and parking etc and etc that is very locale based.
Also, please buy such that at worst you can cover the debt with std ltr rent!

Focus on your guest’s experience. The success is the details. Think about the stuff you would like to have on your hotel room when you travel.
Add a list of concierge recommendations for the area. Decorate the place to create instagram, snapchat moments for your guest. Be responsive. Airbnb really sets you up for success if you are committed to do the work.
Thanks for your suggestions. I am in learning stage and will definitely keep in mind when i get to the lilsting of my first STR stage.

@Christopher Bell : Thanks a lot for such a great advice. I learned tons of lessons in LTR and one of that is to do extensive DD before getting in. Learnt my lessons hard way. Hope you find a successful one in your next attempt.
