He just wants a place to grow plants. I am not paying for it.

I hope that it will be easier to rent the units to tenants because of the on-site greenhouse.

My business partner and old college roommate bought 3 properties together over the course of a year in Columbus, Ohio in Old North Columbus. He now is going to add a greenhouse to the large yard. Do you think that this will add value to my property? Do you think my current tenants will like the greenhouse? He has agreed to give them plenty of space in it to grow whatever they want. The units are 1bd 1 ba with about 400 sq ft. Rents are currently $895, $840, $802, and $798.

@Corey Russo I agree with @Joe Villeneuve. If you are interested in long-distance REI you need a Realtor, contractor and property manager in that area. I am a Realtor and property manager in Columbus, Ohio. I regularly work with local contractors on rehabs and general maintenance. If you have any questions about getting started in this area please let me know.

@Colin Haag I did some quick research on the Reynoldsburg area and comparables indicate that homes are selling for $160,000 - $200,000 and are renting for $1,600-$2,000. If you find a property that needs some work you can BRRR it. I think this area would be great for your first rental. I am an agent and property manager in the area. Please let me know if you need any assistance!

@Anson Brown

I believe the best property management companies in Columbus, OH are S4RE, RL Property Management, and Panzera. @Mitch Deminski is the owner of S4RE and @Peter Lohmann is the owner of RL Property Management. I also have a property management company but we are just getting started and mostly work with our current investors.

I work with Joseph E Budde, Attorney at Law, for all of my real estate lawyer needs

Please let me know if you have any more questions.
