Post: Vistaprint business cards for a newbie investor

I have been wanting to buy some business cards to pass them out at local REIA's and to family and friends, however, I don't have a business name yet and I don't want to divulge where I live. This makes it extra difficult to find a good template to use on vistaprint. I don't want to reinvent the wheel but I would like something nice. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Brandon Lee I agree with Michael Herr . In Texas we have tons of houses with foundation issues but as long as you account for the repair costs up front and still have wiggle room you should be ok.

Fabio Carnie Yeah we have an 8 page contract here in Texas, you can/should always consult with a real estate attorney to modify those for you. I had someone whom I met here on BP forward me a purchase contract that had been altered already as well as an assignment contract. You are correct. The purchase contract is what you will secure the property with and the assignment contract is what you will use to "sell" the property to the cash buyer.

Welcome to BP Jacolby Pittman The main difference from bandit signs and direct mail is that with direct mail you will be screening the people you send the mail to. You purchase a list that you tailor to your specific criteria. Where as the bandit signs are visible to anyone whether they meet your criteria or not (equity, value, size, area, etc). Also, bandit signs are illegal in most cities/counties so please make sure you check before putting them up.

Christopher McGuire Hattie Dizmond is correct but those areas are a bit pricey. If you are looking for a lower entry point in a up and coming neighborhood, I would suggest the Bishop Arts district in oak cliff. The area used to be pretty bad (I know because I grew up around there) but it has been making a turn around. They have several locally renowned restaurants and bars within walking distance and it is centrally located just south of downtown Dallas (about 5-10 min) with free shuttle buses going downtown every 15 min.
