@Michael Reyes First, thanks for the help. I really appreciate you taking the time to look into this. But I still don't understand how the equity reached $171,840. I mean on page 147 he says that " it would, 15 years later in 2003, have been worth almost $170,000". What do you think?

Sounds like a great deal. You said a lump sum in 5 to 10 years....do you mind explaining the terms. I understand if you'd rather not, I'm not meaning to get too personal, just trying to learn. it sounds really interesting though.
